Bowland Vets occupies a new-build commercial unit at Mitton Road Business Park, transformed from an open shell into a fully operational veterinary hospital designed around the practice’s clinical, operational and customer-facing requirements.
The project involved close coordination with the business park developer to integrate the bespoke fit out with the base-build programme, ensuring that services, layouts and construction interfaces were resolved efficiently before the specialist internal works progressed.

The internal arrangement was developed specifically for Bowland Vets, balancing a welcoming public entrance and reception area with the specialist clinical spaces required for the day-to-day operation of a contemporary veterinary hospital.

Clinical Environment

Purpose-built kennel accommodation, washable surfaces and coordinated storage contribute to an efficient working environment that can support the practice as it establishes and grows.
Coordination and Delivery
Delivering a specialist healthcare fit out within a newly constructed commercial unit required close communication between the client, the business park developer and the fit-out contractor. Key interfaces were reviewed early so that incoming services, partitions, drainage, ventilation and equipment requirements could be incorporated into the wider construction programme.
The veterinary hospital fit out was delivered by Bodhi Solutions Ltd, turning the new commercial shell into a bespoke facility ready for occupation by Bowland Vets.
