Full time roll - PA/Office Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA/Office Administrator to join our forward-thinking Doncaster based architectural practice. Providing a comprehensive range of architectural, building surveying and project management services, John Hill Associates is now looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team.

The primary focus of this role will be to provide strategic administrative and business support to the Managing Director, Associates, and wider team. Reporting into the Managing Director, the right candidate will be an excellent communicator with proven experience of supporting a senior team, taking ownership of tasks, and maintaining an office environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the MD and Associates with diary coordination and project administration
  • Oversee front of house and provide hospitality to visitors
  • Maintain the day to day running of office facilities and supplies
  • Assist with sourcing relevant contract opportunities for the practice to bid on, using government portals/public sites, and manage the administration of the overall bid process
  • Proactively maintain the company’s presence on social media, post project updates, engage with other companies, and respond to enquiries
  • Support and arrange ‘Continued Professional Development’ (CPD) for the team, find relevant industry events to attend and maintain the CPD logs for Associates on the RIBA portal
  • Maintain company accreditations, subscriptions, and keep up to date with industry compliance
  • Meeting preparation and minute taking
  • Organise monthly invoicing to clients
  • Prepare HR documentation to support employee life cycle

Experience and Attitudes

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word is essential
  • Experience of accounting software Sage or Xero is desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Project is desirable
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • A self-motivated and proactive learner


Wellbeing & Benefits Package

  • £21,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
