Summary Client: Doncaster & Bassetlaw NHS Trust Principal Contractor: Raceway Builders Ltd Project Cost: £371,000.00 plus VAT Timescale: 13 weeks Brief To complete the full ward refurbishment and deal with privacy and dignity requirements within a mixed ward environment, and provide additional single rooms with en-suite accommodation. Proposals The remaining six bed bays were reduced to provide four beds / bay with dedicated en-suite facilities. The remaining areas of the ward were fully reconfigured to improve staff and visitor provision, along with improved storage and upgraded staff base. The refurbishment works were designed in accordance with HTM64, HBN 00-02 and HBN 00-03.

Proposals The existing six bed bays were reduced in size to provide four beds per bay, which could then accommodate a dedicated En-suite and Shower Room to deal with the privacy and dignity requirements.
