EXTENSION TO FORM NEW SECURE ENTRANCE LOBBY AT HATFIELD CROOKESBROOM PRIMARY SCHOOL

Summary Client: DMBC Principal Contractor: G Wilkinson Construction Ltd Project Cost: £38,500.00 plus VAT Timescale: 6 weeks Brief We were informed by the client that an increase in safeguarding of the school was required. At present, once visitors were allowed through the main entrance doors they were permitted entry into the main school building, which provided unsecured access to all other areas of the school. Proposals The works included for an extension to create a secure entrance lobby for visitors to the school. This would permit entry into the school building to liaise with office personnel but further entry beyond this point into the school building would be restricted to authorised personnel only. Disabled access together with weather protection to the entrance formed part and parcel of the works.
